StarTeam 4.2: How to change the Archive Type ?

Some of the sources checked in appear with "Archive Type: VSS". All the rest has "Archive Type: Native".

Questions:
- Is it possible to change the Archive Type of one source from "VSS" to "Native" ?
- Or is the only possibility to delete the source and add it again (and loosing the history) ?
